Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer - Crewe - Hybrid - £47,000 + Car Allowance

The Situation
An Engineer with expertise split across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines are required to join a Rail Industry expert.

This Engineer can be either Mechanically or Electrically biased; the role combines electrical and mechanical design disciplines to deliver complete engineered solutions, including cabinets layouts, electrical schematics, component selection, and integration of control hardware. 

The role will have a key involvement from cradle to grave; the Engineer will be designing products for the power products team

Location

• Crewe, Hybrid
• 1-2 days on site  after initial settling in period

Salary

• Up to £47,000 p/annum + car allowance 
  

Essential Criteria 

• Either: Mechanically biased Design Engineer with exposure to Electrical engineering principals 

OR

• Electrically biased Design Engineer with exposure to Mechanical engineering principals

AND

• Design Authority Experience/High Level of involvement in Design Approval
• Degree or HND in supporting field
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is advantageous
